New gallery of online scrapbook pages

I've been wanting to create a gallery of the best online scrapbook pages at CropMom, and finally, I have found the time to do it. Check it out at Scrapbook Ideas Online.

Scrapbook Ideas Online not only shows off the layouts, but it also gives tips and advice on how to make a layout of your own at CropMom, the online scrapbooking Website.

CropMom lets you upload your photos and use CropMom's digital scrapbook graphics to create fabulous scrapbook pages online. You can use the free, screen-quality layouts on your blog or Website. You can even e-mail them to a friend. (The free screen-quality layouts include the CropMom logo in the right-hand corner). If you want to print your layouts or if you want a layout without the CropMom logo, you can purchase the print-quality digital file of your layout for a small fee and download it. You can print your files anywhere - at home or at a photo service.

On the Scrapbook Ideas Online Website, I have organized the layouts by theme or by technique. For example, you can view some mock magazine covers or examples of word art in digital scrapbooking. Have fun looking at the layouts!

Zutter Bind-it-All for hybrid scrapbooking projects

I use my Zuttter Bind-it-All to bind most of the hybrid scrapbook albums that I make. Hybrid scrapbooking is a mix of traditional scrapbooking techniques and digital scrapbooking.

First, I make my digital scrapbook layouts at CropMom online scrapbooking or use digital scrapbook kits from KB and Friends. Then, I have them printed by a photofinisher. I use spray adhesive to glue the images onto the front and back of chipboard. The Zutter Bind-it-All gives my book a professional-looking o-ring binding. The final step is to add doodads and trim to finish decorating my book.

After I made my most recent book, a hybrid holiday album titled "Joy," I sent a picture of it in to the Zutter Zisters, the Zutter Bind-it-All design team. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they have posted pictures of my project on the Zutter Zisters blog! I'm tickled pink (pun intended, since my Zutter Bind-it-All is pink, like the one shown here). Read my blog post about my Christmas-themed hybrid scrapbooking mini album.

Make a Bingo Card Mini Album

Just had to show off the bingo card mini album that I made. This is a hybrid scrapbooking project that features digital scrapbook pages created at CropMom and traditional scrapbooking techniques.

I chose to make a heritage album, using photos of my husband his brother when they were growing up. I used the print-quality scrapbook pages I made at CropMom and had them printed on 5" by 7" matte photo paper by a local photofinisher. I adhered the layouts to 5" by 7" chipboard. My Zutter Bind-it-All came in handy for binding the 10 pages together. I used the black-finish, 1" O-rings. Then, I added lots of embellishments, including rhinestones, silk flowers, ribbons and charms.

Elegant Christmas Mini Album Tutorial

You can make an elegant Christmas mini album using layouts you've created online at CropMom and 6" by 6" chipboard. This glittery hybrid scrapbooking project is an eye-catching album for your holiday memories.

To make this album, we created eight digital scrapbook pages using CropMom's online digital scrapbooking software. We used the print-quality digital files of our layouts and adhered them to 6" by 6" chipboard pages. A Zutter Bind-it-All machine bound our album with antique-toned O-rings. We had the most fun adding the glitter, rhinestones, bow, buttons and trim.

Spooktacular Puzzle Piece Mini Album

My mom and I made this "spooktacular" mini scrapbook album for Halloween out of recycled, extra-large puzzle pieces. All of the digital scrapbook pages for the album were created at the online scrapbooking site CropMom. Then we printed the layouts and glued them onto 3.5" by 5" puzzle pieces from an old Mattel My Size Puzzle XL.

We've posted a tutorial at CropMom on how to make a puzzle piece album like this one. You can also see the rest of the pages, which are posted with our tutorial.

CropMom can be used to create all of the layouts. But if you are a digital scrapbooker who already has scrapbooking software, you can purchase the Halloween Fun digital scrapbook kit at our designer digital scrapbook shop, KB and Friends.

Make your fantasy-style scrapbook pages online

This hybrid scrapbooking project took my mom and me an afternoon to make. We glued the digital scrapbook layouts we created at CropMom to 6" by 6" chipboard. Then we punched holes and added colorful ribbons.

Vacation scrapbook made using CropMom and Snapfish

After relatives came to visit us in San Diego recently, my mother and I created a scrapbook using their vacation photos and digital scrapbook pages we created online at CropMom. The results were fabulous!

We kept the pages in chronological order. Each destination during their several-day trip was its own scrapbook layout. Altogether, we created 21 scrapbook pages, a cover page, a title page and 19 filler pages.

We uploaded our high-resolution, print-quality layouts from CropMom to Snapfish. We had the layouts printed as an 8" by 8" photo book with a glossy dust jacket. The book arrived in about five days.

It's easy to create digital scrapbook pages at CropMom and have them printed as a photo book.

My first official press release about CropMom went out over PRNewswire today!

As you know, CropMom is the online scrapbooking site that lets users create digital scrapbook pages online using their photos and my mother's and my digital scrapbook graphics.

The site was redesigned from top to bottom to make it easier to use, and the new site design was launched yesterday.

The press releae went out over the wire at 5 a.m. ET today with a layout that I had made at CropMom.

Just wanted to show off the cute layout I made using the CropMom online scrapbooking Web site.

This layout of my son was made using the Howdy Doodle kit, along with elements from the Attic Treasures and Social Butterfly kits, all of which are available for use at CropMom.

CropMom lets users upload their photos and use the CropMom digital scrapbooking graphics to create digital scrapbook layouts. Users may download the low-resolution version of the layout for free for use on the Web. Or they may purchase the high-resolution digital JPEG file of their layout for printing at home or at a photofinisher.

I haven't advertised the site much at all (we're still making some tweaks and doing search engine optimization). Yet I'm surprised to see that people have somehow found the site, have made layouts are writing about it on blogs. What a thrill that is!

Fairies get a makeover at KB and Friends

Add some whimsy to your digital scrapbooking layouts with my newly updated Fairy Godmother kits, part of my very popular Fairy Tales Collection. I'm in the process of updating the entire collection, and the fairy godmothers were the first to get a makeover. These two kits - an accessories pack and a paper pack - include fanciful stitched elements and fabric-textured background papers in pastel pink, yellow and blue. I've updated all of the elements using some of the same patterns as in the original kit. In addition, you'll notice some new elements, such as a castle, crowns and flowers.
